“When people collectively process grief or show solidarity, they walk. It’s instinctual; it’s in our DNA; it’s part of the deep wisdom of the labyrinth.”
– The Rev. Lauren Artress

1pm in your time zone
“Walk as One at 1” in the afternoon on the first Saturday of May. Connect with the labyrinth and others around the world with the unified intention of creating a global wave of peace throughout the day.
Over 5000 people in more than twenty countries have participated in this moving meditation for peace in recent years.
What is a labyrinth?
The labyrinth is an ancient shape with modern applications.
Unlike a maze with many dead ends and decisions, the labyrinth is unicursal. One path leads to the center and back out again.
Dating back thousands of years, labyrinths have been found all over the globe and across countless cultures. Today labyrinths are being built in:
- Parks & Playgrounds
- Schools & Offices
- Hospitals & Assisted Living Facilities
- Churches
- Prisons
- Spas
- Military Bases
- Recovery Centers
- Backyards & Gardens
